Image via WikipediaIn a previous blog post (here), the poem “Blood of Love” by Odysseus Elytis was translated, analysed and discussed philosophically. This poem became the lyrics of a well-known song by Mikis Theodorakis (“Tis agapis aimata”) many years ago. In 2006 I made a remix (more appropriately, a remake) of the song “Blood of Love” and wrote a letter to Mikis Theodorakis about my remixes, who eventually invited me to see him in March 2006. Mikis Theodorakis also liked this particular remix, despite its technical imperfections. (The innovations in melodic / harmonic accompaniment are interesting, I think).
I worked on other remixes and remakes, since then, leaving this particular one behind. Tonight I decided to upload it in the SoundClick music page, and you can listen to it (as Streaming Audio) by clicking on the image, above.

προσωπικά το θεωρώ “καλούτσικο” ή μέτριο,
Απλώς έχει κάποια πρόσθετα συνοδευτικά στοιχεία μελωδιών/αρμονιών που είναι εντελώς νέα (ο ίδιος ο Μίκης τα βρήκε “σε καλό δρόμο”).
